Silence Those Annoying Vuvuzela Horns From Your TV

world cup soccer football vuvuzela

So you’ve had enough of the World Cup vuvuzela horns buzzing from your TV. It’s almost so annoying that you a soccer fanatic is so tempted to turn off the TV. You’ve heard about devices that can cancel out the drone, but can’t spare a dime. There’s software you can run on your computer, have the TV sound output plugged into your soundcard, then through the vuvuzela noise cancel software, then back to your sound output, but it’s too much work or complicated because your teenage kids aren’t back from school yet.

That’s fine, just go to your home theater component graphic equalizer and adjusted your bandpass filters for the following frequencies: 233, 433, 932, 1864.

Some higher end TVs have the range capabilities on the TV’s EQ to adjust it onscreen.

There, that should cancel out most of the buzzing and droning. Now go back to being a blissful fan and enjoy the World Cup games.
