Got a Nook? Nookie Nookie...

Barnes and Noble just dropped the price of their eBook reader. The standard Wi-Fi model is just $149, while the Wi-Fi + 3G model is just $199. It’s a drop of $60 from their previous price.

To also compliment this drop in price, B&N just released the next firmware update, version 1.4. You get extended AT&T Wi-Fi Hotspot, extra large fonts, and a go-to page feature. (seriously though, why wasn’t the go-to feature there to begin with?)

You get also have access to over a trillion titles. That’s right, over a trillion titles to choose from!

You also get thousands of free eBooks to download and read. Want to lend an eBook to a friend? You can do that too!

So how easy is it to read from the device?
According to B&N:
Choose an eBook using the beautiful color touch screen, then watch it appear instantly on the E Ink® display, where text appears as crisp as a printed page. The 16-level gray scale display offers great contrast with no glare or backlight. Choose from six font sizes so you can read with ease.

How much can it hold?
Store as many as 1,500 eBooks, eNewspapers, and eMagazines on your NOOK’s 2 GB of internal storage, so you’ll never be without your favorites. Need more space? Just add a Micro SD card. With Barnes & Noble’s Lifetime Library™, your eBook library goes wherever you go and can be enjoyed on your NOOK plus the widest variety of mobile devices, including iPhone® and BlackBerry®.

Seems like an excellent device to move into the digital format to read books if you ask me. It’s much more stylish and feature packed than other eBook readers I’ve seen. Plus FREE shipping.
