World Cup Soccer / Football Madness! Everyone is cheering, celebrating, crying and blowing into their vuvuzela horns. Seems like everyone has one. Everyone except you sitting at home watching the game. Forget that, head on over to your local pub with the rest of the armchair soccer hooligans and blow your virtual World Cup Soccer vuvuzela horn!

If you didn't know by now, you can download apps for your Android and iPhone and celebrate the World Cup with your very own vuvuzela horn. Annoy your friends, family and neighbors. Everyone hates it except you because you're the one creating the noise!

I've personally tried the Android app from Brandon Broschinsky. His app is free to download and the fun part of it is you can blow into your phone's speaker or mic and the drone of the horn will sound. It's just like blowing into a real horn. You can look like a dork and start swinging your phone, all the while blowing into it, and the drone will have a nice wavering effect. There is a slight second delay when you initially stop, so be prepared to have it continue for a second or two.

I gathered a few friends and we all started playing our virtual vuvuzelas on both iPhones and Android phones. For a few minutes, we all annoyed our other friends that couldn't get the app, and then after that we annoyed each other. Then our neighbor yelled (jokingly) to shut up (I think he meant it though).

After everyone left, I blew into my virtual vuvuzela horn, and was then annoyed myself. Haven't bothered with it since.
